We have become aware of a fraudulent attempt to purchase artwork from some of our artists via your email address on SoupSkin.com.  SoupSkin.com is dedicated to offering a place for artist to show off their work, we do not promote artwork for sale.  However, if someone is interested in purchasing a piece of your work we highly encourage you to take every precaution to verify information and make sure to protect your interests.

Although the following suggestions will not guarantee security they may help you in selling your work safely on the internet.

Use PayPal.com
Paypal.com is an excellent means to receive money online.  You do not have to provide personal information to anyone except PayPal.com. PayPal.com works like an online bank. We at SoupSkin.com use this service regularly.

Be Safe
DO NOT GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION.  Never provide your birth date, Social Security Number, physical address, phone number, banking information or any information that is not absolutely necessary.  If you do plan on selling your artwork consider investing in a mail box at the UPS Store (previously known as Mailboxes Etc.).
